Age of Mythology!
I just picked this up at Frys and I'm hooked. I never played any of the Age of Empires games, so I guess I missed out because Age of Mythology is tons o' fun. I had returned a hard drive, so I had a $96 credit, and AoM was on sale for $35...so I couldn't pass it up.
Basically, from what I read, it's similar to the AoE games, with a few twists.
Right now I'm playing the single player campaigns and can't stop playing.
Anyone else hooked?

I just checked the Microsoft Game Studios website and there is no mention of this being ported to Mac. Even the official website of the game had nothing on this. Sorry.

I know, I was surfing trying to find info, but I couldn't either. Thanks though. The other games in the series have been ported. Maybe it is a 6 month thing. 6-12 months from now Mac users might get it.

I'm still hooked on the demo
I cant wait to pick it up!
It is almost the same as the other games excpet the other games used a sprite based graphics...the 3d engine looks prettty cool
Plus the cool magic kinda gives it a populous feel

I tried the demo but I guess it's just not my type of game. Pick up wood, pick up food.....Too much pointing and clicking and not enough action.......

I have been playing the campaigns on EASY setting. It is far too easy. I will adjust this upwards.
This is very similar to AOE with the exception of incredible graphics. I am so blown away by the surf and special "GOD" attacks.
RTS games have always been my favorite but I have doubts about this one holding my interest for too long. I think it may be too similar to AOE, which I played into the ground.
