Remember: Watch Shania Twain Tonight!
The CMA awards are tonight and I'm not really a country fan, but I believe Shania will perform to open the show and then you can flip to something better.
But she is so smokin' hot that for about 5 minutes, CBS will be must see TV tonight!

Didn't she just give birth, or was that a year ago?
She was looking pretty thin tonight, hated those arm-thingy's on her arms.
The song isn't all that catchy, and it didn't "get me".

Make up your mind. Is the question "insulting" or "obnoxious" - no need for two posts.
I asked again since no one answered me or posted a pic the first time. As I said in the other forum, I lost interest in her when she started looking unhealthy and emaciated. Since my TV is booked for 8pm, I can't really watch.
Sorry you don't like the question (actually I'm not - it's just a phrase people use).

P.S. If you have any recent pics, you should post them. It is, after all, a forum rule.

Thanks. Is that a recent pic? She doesn't look unhealthy, which is good ... I think she looked better right when 'The Woman in Me' came out (before she started touring so much), but at least (or so it appears from that pic) she's out of the "crackwhore" woods. Guess the time off did her some good.
das
P.S. Yeah, I'm frequently a dick when people respond rudely to an honest question. Cut me some slack - I grew up in the jungle.

• Quoth Mopower •
I read in tv guide that she and her family are vegitarians and don't eat any processed food, only fresh food. Which could explain the "crackwhore" look. I thought that was in nowadays anyway?

She looked fine for years though (didn't she go vegetarian when hooking up with Mutt?). It wasn't until 'The Woman in Me' exploded that I noticed the change. I always figured the "industry" pressured her to be ultra-thin to be accepted. Either that or all the touring took its toll. Perhaps she had trouble getting good nutritious vegetarian meals while on the road for so long.
I met her back in 1999, and she really didn't look good. Despite the huge push for her new album, I haven't seen or heard anything from her. It's pretty low on my priority list though ... I just hope she's healthy. She seemed like a nice person, and I don't like it when good looking women get too thin because society pressures them to (not sure if that's what happened with her ... she just got real thin real quickly, and it caught my attention).

das... I hope your crackwhore question is answered, because I don't believe she was ever crackwhore thin.
But I'm not too into fat or chunky girls...so sorry.
Shania is always great.
Bobby Trendy is a great fiddle player! He rocks!

She certainly did have a bad bout with the waif look. I remember a picture of her standing next to Celine Dion from an awards show and they both looked like poster children. Other than that, the cover of Rolling Stone she was on and Q (music magazine) '99 both had her collar bone and chest plate very prominent. None the flattering.
The most transition I have seen has been with Sarah Michelle Gellar though, just pretty sad

I hear you on that one. Loud and clear. Over.
I am glad I recorded the event...now I can piss my girlfriend off by watching it over and over.
