I just got every level shine sprite in Super Mario Sunshine, and defeated the final boss. Now all thats left for me to do is collect the 30 or so hidden shines, blue coin shines, and 100 coin shines. Is there any reason for me to do this? Do I get anything thats really cool after I collect 120? I don't want to waste my time unless I get more than just satisfaction.
(Oh yea, don't tell me what it is, if there is anything. I'd rather be surprised.) Thanks a lot.

Yeah.. there's something.. I wouldn't call it "really cool" but it is kinda neat. Only get the rest of the shines if you're a completist or.. you just have fun playing(that's why I'm getting them all ).. don't expect something really great.

I'm working on a perfect game in GTA3 - guess I'm obsessive/compulsive and have no life... I'd like to finish Mario someday, but I can't say whether I'd go looking for every single thing or not.

I sold mine way back but I'm interested in what you get by completing everything. Put some [ spoiler ] tags around it for those of us who'd like to know.

Heh.. well it's not like Mario64's reward was any better.. so I wouldn't think anyone would have too high an expectation..

I'd never sell mario sunshine.. it's my favorite mario game yet

Don't you get that just for beating the game? As far as I know there is no extra reward for completing everything (maybe wrong), but I still like to pop in the game and go after another shine or blue coin from time to time. If anything it adds replay value.
