Here is a current list of television shows from the 2002-2003 television season that will not be returning for the 2003-2004 television season. I will continue to add to this list as other shows are cancelled or end their run.

I thought this would be a good way to keep up to date with shows that have been cancelled. May want to consider making this thread sticky.

Meet the Grubbs wasn't cancelled. They just pushed the premiere back to January and Andy Richter Controls the World will fill the spot.

When was mds cancelled? I know Echevaria left the show due to "creative differences" and they're airing some other stuff for November sweeps, but I hadn't heard of its death just yet.

I still don't understand that sentence in bold. Why not just cancel it if you're gonna....jeez.

'MDs' gets scrubbed for the sweeps
There won't be a doctor in the house at ABC next month.
The network, concerned by lower-than-hoped-for ratings for the medical drama "MDs," will shelve the show during the all-important November sweeps, which get underway tonight.
"MDs" debuted to lukewarm reviews, and got a similar response from viewers.
After five episodes, the series has averaged 6.67 million viewers in its 10 p.m. Wednesday slot, according to Nielsen Media Research.
By comparison, 7.6 million viewers have been tuning to the competition on CBS, the medical drama "Presidio Med." Both shows have been left far behind by NBC's "Law & Order," which has averaged 18.6 million viewers this season.
"MDs" stars William Fitchner ("A Perfect Storm") and John Hannah as doctors struggling with their personal lives and corporate control of their hospital.
ABC programmers said yesterday they've been encouraged by recent episodes.
The show will return to the schedule on Dec. 4, following the sweeps, a quarterly ratings period local stations use to set advertising rates. However, the network has yet to pick up enough episodes of "MDs" to get it through the season.
Executives at ABC said they'll wait until after the Dec. 4 show to decide the series' fate.

Last I heard, they have 9 new episodes that they're holding until the current lame-ass filler sit-coms fail mid-season as usual. I think I heard March was an estimate, but it could be anytime.

Only thing I liked about watching Ellie was "watching Ellie"
Seemed like an excuse for Julia Louis Dreyfuss to run around half naked and have her ego stroked. And for some reason they thought it was a good idea to run that show in real time like it's 24? They had that stupid countdown timer. The first time I saw it, I thought it was there by mistake like a vcr counter. The second time I watched it I was expecting something big to happen when it finished counting down, but it was just the show ending with no big climax. Then the third time I just quit watching because it was getting on my nerves! (along with the show just not being funny)

Yep. The first few episodes were a bit uneven, but it got really funny before they yanked it. I was really surpised how much I enjoyed it.

Although it hasn't been cancelled, this is supposed to be the last season of Dawson's Creek.
Too bad. I 've reallly been enjoying it since they've been in college.

When Haunted first premiered I said "This steaming pile won't last long".
One thing I know is that UPN will never admit they might have made a mistake cancelling Roswell, even more so now that Haunted is kaput.
