Friends (10/31/02)

I thought the show was funny and one of the best episodes in awhile.

When Ross' mom told the beauty salon story, I was .

It was pretty funny when Ross was telling Rachel all the bad things that could happen when they were locked out of the apartment. Was it just me or did Jennifer Aniston look different? I think it was her eyes or something.

Joey and Phoebe were their usual funny selves. It was funny when Joey told the waiters they were "about to see something special" when they brought out all the food.

Monica was back to her quirky self. I liked her tricking Chandler into sex....although I can't ever imagine her needing to trick someone to get them into bed.

Chandler was...eh. I usually relate to him the most, but he hasn't been that great this season. How long is he going to stay in Oklahoma? I hope that doesn't last too many more episodes. It's kinda lame.

Rachel's hair was a bit different. I didn't think that this episode was very good. The salon story was pretty funny, but everything else was pretty much blah.

Rachel looked awful.

I usually comment on how this show is slipping but that was one of the more humorous episodes of the last several seasons.

"Chandler, control your woman!"

I rarely bother to catch this show at all anymore, but am glad I was with people who wanted to watch it last night. Quite a few pretty funny moments.

I thought that Rachel looked hot. I liked her hairstyle last night. You never know, it might catch on and sweep the nation. It's happened before!

Wow, I thought this episode was awful, except for the scenes in the restaurant. How many times can you recycle locking yourself in or out of something? You should only be able to use that once, and I know they must've done that before. I never think Chandler and Monica are funny together.

It got better when they all finally got to the restaurant. It was a good Joey episode.

Yes, on the first Thanksgiving episode. They all leave to see the Underdog balloon that has gotten loose. Monica says to Rachel "Got the keys?", but Rachel hears "Got the keys!". They get locked out, the food burns, and Thanksgiving is ruined.

I was pretty disappointed in this episode. Not many laughs.

(And Lisa Kudrow now seems completely unable to say any of her "funny" lines without laughing herself. She seemed to break character at least twice last night. Strange.)

Jennifer Aniston just looks like she jus got outof the tanning salon.

I personally always liked Chandler smoking storylines. It's one of the few faults that they let slip into the characters on the show. Having Chandler love smoking just makes him more real to me.

That's what I liked about the episode as well.

It looked like Brad Pitt acted out some of his Fight Club moves for real on poor Jennifer.

The best so far this season was the one after they got out of the hospital and where Joey and Ross was trying to sort things out in the coffee shop. Where Joey is trying to get Ross to punch him and he punched a pole. I thought that sketch was the best so far of all the others.

Once again Joey stole the show....he has consistently been the funniest friend for the last couple of years.....some hilarious moments in this one...

And I usually find Monica pretty nauseating, but not so tonight....it could have been the teddy I think it was just that the smoking storyline was pretty good....some good banter back and forth there.....

Good episode last night. Joey had some great one-liners.

Okay... I loved Phoebe in this episode.

Chandler "Do you think Monica will notice?"
Phoebe "She has the nose of a bloodhound." Phoebe stars off longinly "And the breasts of a greek goddess"

This was one of worst episodes in quite a while.

Joey was great but the rest of it was lousy writing.

Surprised some people thought it was so funny.

The first thing I said to my wife while watching this episode was "What the hell happend to Rachels hair?"
I thought it was horrible and I do not usually notice things like that.
