Check your local Best Buy. I did, and found nothing. Other's stores have them. They are in the video game section of your store if they have them, some sort of Birthday themed gift card.

You have to look around. One BB nearby had literally hundreds of these GC in jewel cases in the video games section, while the other 3 had none.

I saw these in the CD section, but I thought it was a birthday gift card that you had to purchase for $5.

It's a gift card, and you have to put a minimum of 2 dollars on it. It comes with a coupon, easily visible from the front, for 5 dollars off a 19.99 video game or accessory purchase. So you have to buy the gift card, but you can turn around and use that gift card when you buy the game anyway.

It is the light green gift card case. The other gift card cases (purple, I think) don't have the coupon.

So would I be able to go to Best Buy tomorrow and pick up one of these cards, then on Wednesday go back and use the card - plus get the $5 off. Scoring VC for $34.99 + tax?

I know for sure the EGM coupon says that you can't combine it with any other offer. The CD case one apparently doesn't have that restriction.

You are right. I just tried to used to buy ViceCity but BB wouldn't let me use it since $39.99 was their "sale" price.

I just did the case one with no problem, the guy that rang me out was so impressed with this deal he ran around and told like 10 people who worked there so they could all do it, he mumbled something to the manager about numbers going up for this. He also told me I was so smart I should get a job there A pretty well off software engineer giving it all up to go work for best buy.....I can only dream.
