Anybody have Dragon's Lair?
I was wondering if anybody has played Dragon's Lair and has any input on it from www.digitalleisure.com. I was wanting to pick it up, but I had perviously purchased another one of my favorites Time Traveler from them, and was less then impressed.
Hopefully somebody has played it, and can let me know.. Thanks

I have the Dragons Lair deluxe pack for my PC on Cd-rom
They did a pretty good job convering the laser disk animation to avi files..allthought full screen mode is a little pixelized.
Also you will need to switch disks during space ace.
You maybe able to copy the files to your hard drive to get around this.
Don't know anything about the aniversary dvd version
hope this helps

Re: Anybody have Dragon's Lair?
Anyone play Dragon’s Liar on console? How does it play? Responsive controls? I feel like I bought every version I could. iPhone, Gamecube, Blu-ray. Just never felt like cabinet and I always sucked, but fondly remember...

I've only played it in the arcade, and through Daphne, the emulator.

This was a long time ago, but have only ever played the arcade version. It really was not much of a game, as you are only required to move or attack at the appropriate moment, and just need to have it memorized. Honestly I just watched someone's playthrough on high definition somewhere on Youtube and that was enough for me.

It’s been a while since I played the trilogy on PS4 but it wasn’t too bad, I think you just use the dpad and a couple of buttons circle vs b on the Xbox.

I had all 3 games on the PS3 (and I think it’s the same company that did this current port as well). Sucks that I can’t re-play them on the PS4, but anyway, they played great. They had multiple display modes, including 16:9, 4:3, and a mode where it looked like the arcade unit.
On top of that, they had it so it would tell you what direction to press, so you weren’t going into it blind like in the real game where you spend 50 cents to figure out every move. But they also have that “original mode”, as well as a version where you can just watch the game play through on its own.
Space Ace was the most fun to me, I got through a good amount of that without needing prompts.
