Godzilla Destroy all Monsters-What game were reviewers playing?

I have seen at IGN and at Gamespot reviews for this game. Im glad i ignored both of them. Thank the lord I never paid these guys for reviews.

First off This game is a lot of fun. Even all the people who left comments on gamespot agree. Why gamespot gave the game a 6.9 I still dont know. Did they get a earlier copy of the game? G: DAM is One of my favorites now. Nothing like being Godzilla and beating the hell out of all the movie monsters with a bunch of friends in 4 player melee. The sound is excellent and the cities are nice as well. They complained about the controls. The controls are so simple its not even funny. Anyone who can read a instruction book can play the game in under 2 minutes. They say the game may be hard for the regular gamer and its almost impossible to defeat Mecha Godzilla even on easy. Sorry but i beat him on easy and medium on the first time. Other monsters were harder then him. They say the game is slow. Well they are monsters that are like skyscrapers. I recommend this to anyone who likes godzilla and wants a fresh new type of 3D fighter.

FYI, IGN gave it a positive review. I don't remember what the final score was(somewhere in the 8s), but the basic conclusion was it's one of the best multiplayer games on the GC yet.

I just bought this last night and it is easily one of my favorite games. Bear in mind I'm a guy who grew up watching the old school Godzilla movies and have also viewed the newer ones, so I am familiar with all of the characters/creatures.

Interesting how effective Megalon is, when in the movie he was a complete wuss. Good thing the game doesn't have the limitations of rubber suits!
