Folks, it's past midnight here in the UK.
I've been struggling with ftp and stuff for almost three hours to bring you the first review. I had hoped to launch my own website tonight (www.zetaminor.com), but it's been a nightmare!
Anyway, a stripped-down review is online at my other server:
Star Wars - Episode II - Region 2 DVD Review
I hope you enjoy the the review!

DVD Talk Limited Edition
Bring it on!
I loved what the review said, "If you've been looking for an excuse to buy that new widescreen digital TV... here it is. No kidding. It's THAT good." Now, if I could only convince my wife to spend the 2000 grand for an average HDTV.
It will be interesting to see if the DVD makes some studios switch to Digital to "Film" their movies.
By the way, what word will be used instead of "Film" to describe shooting a movie when it goes all digital. The Director can no longer say he is "Filming" a movie.

This may be the best review I have read on the net so far.
http://www.dvdreview.com/fullreviews...e_clones.shtml
Dvdreview.com gave AOTC it's Gold Seal, as being worthy of the highest recommendation. Quotes from the review include -
"Never in the 5 years that I've been reviewing DVD's, have I seen a transfer of a live-action movie that can hold a candle to the presentation of Star Wars: Episode II."
"Star Wars: Episode II is the new king of DVD...Hail the king!"
I can't wait until the 12th!
