I just got syphon filter 2 for the PS1 (sorry, im always one generation of consoles behind).
Any fans have suggestions, strategies, cheats, etc.?
Seems pretty fun so far

Have you played the first Syphon Filter? If you haven't, you might want to try that one first since the story is quite cool and the 2 actually connect. I beat the first two, but haven't played SF3 yet. That one came too late.. I was already addicted to my DC by then.
Good things to remember is to be patient. Use target lock (R1) alot. Press down to do a quick 180 degree turn to get bad guys behind.

Heh, I'm with you on this one. I only picked up Syphon Filter maybe two months ago. I skipped over it when it came out due to Metal Gear Solid and the other stuff I was playing.
I enjoy it, but it's a bit hard to control Gabe, he moves like Gumby.

I didn't like the controls at first but you get used to them fast. The only thing I really didn't like about this game was the few parts where it was basically figure out where enemy a comes from, die, figure out where enemy b comes from, die, etc. thankfully there weren't many parts like that though.
