Dio(Black Sabbath) fans,,,,need info please
I have the LIVE EVIL CD's and for the longest time I have looked for but never found the VIDEO for it.
Was it ever made?
On the CD you can hear Dio mention that its was being FILMED not taped.
Any info would be great.

I've never seen it on video. It doesn't show up on IMDB and does not appear on ebay (which is sometines a great place to search for old stuff like this). I still have the double vinal of it.

Thats a real bummer.
Iv looked for so long and every time a Black Sabbath video came out I was thinking it would be IT.
Wonder if they made it but just never released it?
Maybe need to goto a Black Sabbath board and get info.

Found this so far........
In the live album "Live Evil" Dio mentions that the concert is not only being recorded but they are filming it as well. Does anyone know if that video does exist or is it forever lost in some vault somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Does anyone know if the LIVE EVIL CONCERT was shown on MTV? I'm trying to find someone who has that MOB RULES TOUR on video. I remember Dio saying, "Not only are we filming this but this will also be a live album from BLACK SABBATH". What ever happened to that filming?
Answer:
I don't think those tapes ever saw the light. I'm fairly sure they were
going to release a live video along with the live album, but as Ronnie and
Vinny left the band, those plans were scrapped.
-- There was no one Live Evil concert as the album is a compilation of three different concerts.
Another question that is being asked is when will the Birmingham video be released?
The standard answer is there are no plans to do so. With the 1999 concert tour started
it would not be a smart business move to release it until after the tour was over.
Additionally most of the reunion tour was being recorded on video, possibly for inclusion with the Birmingham video.
So don't expect to see it until after the tour, if at all.

There was never a "Live Evil" video released, or shown on TV. Whether there was one actually filmed, I don't know. The only legitimate film from those first Dio/Sabbath years was the "Black and Blue" Tour Film with Blue Oyster Cult. I believe the Sabbath portion was from the "Heaven and Hell" tour. Great concert film, about 90 minutes long, with Sabbath taking up 45 to 50 minutes. It's available as a bootleg DVD, but I've been told it's coming out legitimately on DVD in the U.S. in late fall.

I love Ozzy and all, but Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules were the best Sabbath albums, Dio is just the best!
anyone get the new Dio album "Killing the Dragon"? it's really good! very 80's sounding! Classic Dio!
