Best Buy: Warranty sheet destroyed in flood... now what?
Hey, guys. I have a warranty on an iPaq and I'd like to make use of it. However, my warranty sheet and receipt were totally destroyed in a small basement flood about a month ago. While I'm aware of the "you must keep paperwork" clause in the warranty, I'm certain that they have a computer record of my warranty, and they've got to have contingency plans in place for things like this.
Anyone have any info? Thanks in advance.

Sometimes they can look up your info w/ a phone number or credit card. I've seen this before plenty of times. Go to customer service and explain what happened.
