For mainstream titles, looks like BB or CC have the best prices these days.

But they're no good if you're trying to find something a little more obscure. Like last week I saw this guy trying to find the Herzog boxset at BB. Good luck to him.

I've always found BB and CC to have lower prices on the major titles than online retailers.

Saw the Herzog/Kinski Box set at the Frisco, TX BB last week. I believe the retail price (IIRC) was $49.99. I paid $53 at CD Now with a coupon. I would not have expected to see the set there, which is why I pre-ordered.

I think they definately are trying to lure in the bargain online shoppers by undercutting the online stores in the first week. Bad thing tho is you don't know until the week it comes out. I wish they could post their ad prices as soon as it is available for pre order on their website!

They intentionally don't tell you in advance. This way you get in the habbit of going there!
