Crazy X = Satan's doing? Progress...

Just curious what everyons progress is in "Crazy X" for Crazy Taxi 3.

I got the game the day it came out, and basically have been playing the Crazy X since then. Today I finally beat all the level 2 minigames. I was stuck on two of them, and beat them tonight by actually not using ANY crazy boosts (or whatever the flaming wheels are called)...

Have 3-A and 3-B unlocked, will give them a go, but doubt I'll ever pass em, maybe though.. As I unlocked everything but the final S-S in CT2.

Lemme know how you guys are doing, and what strategies you used for 3-A, 3-B if you beat em

thanks
-Jim

I've just got 3-B and S-S to go. I've gotten it down to 6 passengers on 3-B, taking (I think) every shortcut. Bleh.

Crazy Drift: while turning, throw the car into reverse then right back into drive. You'll start drifting.

Crazy Boost (small): Hit the drive button, then immediately hit the accelerator.

Crazy Boost (big): Throw it in reverse, then immediately back into drive, then immediately hit the accelerator.

I've only done the level one and about half of the level two mini games. I've mostly been doing the 10 minute runs on the regular levels.

cartman, any advice for 3-a? is 3-a the minigame for Crazy Taxi 1? I think 3-B is the last minigame from Crazy Taxi 2?

Never was able to do S-S in CT2, but did do the final one in CT1 I think.

What happens when you unlock 3-a,3-b and s-s? i think you get all the drivers for every course?

After completing a level of Crazy X, you will recieve a prize. They are as follows:

Level 1: Unlocks the course maps for West Coast, Glitter Oasis, and Small Apple
Level 2: Unlocks the bike, stroller, and carriage to use as vehicles
Level 3: Unlocks ''Another Day'' mode
Level S-S: Unlocks all 12 drivers for each course

This was on gamefaqs.

Well, I've got a question. I've never played a Crazy Taxi game before, so what do you do? I know that you pick people up, take them where they want to go, and get money, but what can you do with that money? Thanks in advance!

I usually spend it on whores and drugs.

But you are mainly just trying to get a high score to get a better ranking.. It's a pretty old school game with competition for score mainly.

It's also just fun to drive around and do "crazy" things on a set amount of time, 3,5,10 minutes..

The Crazy X is minigames to complete in the cabs, like "Crazy Bowling" where you have to get 70 pins down, primarly through strikes.

I used Bixbite for 3-a, and did it on my third try (once I knew where to go). I think I go down the hills, then past the beach, then by the church, up the hills to the baseball field, through downtown (making rights, usually), up the hills, then through the park to the end. Also, boost your way through the entire level, and don't crash. I know that's probably not much help, but I don't know how else to explain it with out a map. I'm usually finished with ~30 seconds left.

Nope... You can unlock new vehicles in Crazy X, though..

This game isnt much of a simulation or anything like that.. It's basically an arcade game, or a retro game, where you just try to beat your old score.
