Nintendo Power Super Mario Sunshine deal

I haven't seen this posted yet.

I just got my new Nintendo Power magazine (Issue 159, Mickey Mouse on the cover) and there's a deal in it for Super Mario Sunshine.

Super Mario Sunshine
Super Mario Sunshine Player's Guide
Memory Card 59
$10 Coupon for the WaveBird wireless controller
1 year (12 issue) subscription to Nintendo Power
2-Day Air Shipping (shipping starts 8/26/02)

$69.95 until 10/31/02
(taxes in CA, MA, MI, WA)

Good deal, especially for those just getting a gamecube for this game.

I'll pass myself as I already have 2 mem 59's, a wavebird, don't like having guides as it's too tempting to look stuff up and hate Nintendo Power.

They need to provide memory cards in every game they sell.
NCAA2003 requires something like 224 blocks!
Wow, they just made the new card obsolete and its only been out a month!
Hmm, why did I buy the Xbox version again?

I hope the h/w designer at Nintendo got fired over that brilliant idea.

This seems like a good deal. I'd prefer they drop the price $10 and lose the controller rebate and make the memory card the larger one.

Actually, I think that person probably was given a promotion. Selling 4Mbits (half a megabyte) of flash memory for $15?! Memory Card 59 must have seen some very high profit margins up until 251 was released.
