It was a good bit better than I thought it would be. Good pacing. The part where the vomit saved the dog's life cracked me up.

I read about this in Fangoria, it sounds pretty cool. Anyone know if it will get any kind of half decent theatrical release?

I saw this movie on Sci-Fi channel about a month ago. I'm sure they edited the hell out of it for television, but it was still a highly entertaining and enjoyable film. Definitely one of the best werewolf films I've seen (right up there with An American Werewolf in London and Ginger Snaps). I also loved all the humor and references to films like Aliens and Predator ("Remember - short, controlled bursts!"). I hope it comes out on DVD soon

Just finished watching Dog Soldiers and liked it a lot. Lots of action and gore and some very funny lines.

Spoiler:
right before he is eaten by the wolf "I hope I give you the shits!"

I loved it. Some pretty major plot holes, but I loved it all the same. Good to see an old school moster/horror movie.

thought it was pretty good for an amateur first effort, but on its own, so much of it was just too derivative of some all time classics (from the 'Indianapolis-like' speech at the begining by the CO to the whole Aliens-esque stand-off .
also, the 'twists' i could see coming a mile off.

on a positve note though, the werewolves were among the coolest i have ever seen. loved the way they were executed and wish more movies still used old-school physical effects instead of cgi.

still, i'm glad i rented this one.
