Bad Analog Cable TV, suggestions?

I currently have 6 TV's hooked up to my cable. I have two Signal amplifiers hooked up as well. CBS (some Yankee games are on CBS) has so much noise/snow it's unwatchable. The amps I am using are a Radio Shack, and a "from the cable company" amp. I feed the cable company amp to a splitter. From the splitter I take one line, and send it to the Radio Shack amp. From the Radio Shack amp I send a single line to my primary TV (30' away). The signal is not over boosted, as turning up the gain improves the picture. Is there a good solution? Should I buy another amp?
