Where to order Japan Imported DVDs?

Japan already has the first and second season of Dark Angel. And I can't find an etailer that sells them. I found one but couldn't read the text since it was in Japanese. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I know a few of us might want these season box sets. thanks!

This should be in the international forum.
I use CD Japan for my japanese orders. They're pretty quick.

Thanks a lot.
Very pricey for those Dark Angel sets.

It'll probably be a bit cheaper if you order from www.amotokyo.com. Dark Angel is listed under "J Movie". The reason it'll be a bit cheaper is that amotokyo offers free shipping if you buy over $200. I suggest Digi Charat, but that has nothing to do with dark angel.

yeah, they are pricey...way pricey. but nice. the box set (haven't opened it yet) looks really sweet, and the quality of the one episode i've seen so far is very high.
i ordered the first box set (with episodes 2-11), the pilot, and a disc with two later episodes and it came to about $185 with shipping.

they were pretty fast though, within 3 weeks from order to delivery.

the box came pretty beat up and i'm surprised that the actual discs or box set wasn't banged up.

I wouldn't mind getting some of the titles that have DTS tracks such as The Shawshank Redemption and Frequency but I just don't think I want to pay the prices I've found them at ($45-$50 shipped).

I just spent about $350 on 8 Japanese dts titles and Frequency and Shawshank Redemption were among them. IMO, they are both outstanding releases. I'd give the edge to Frequency though as it makes better use of the dts track.

funny to read people bitch and moan on the bargin forum when a sale title isn't lower than $19.95.
just curious, what else did you get?

the only thing that really interests me is The Driver, but at $40 + shipping thats just too rich for my blood.

Japanese discs are always expensive so I'm careful to only buy movies my family has already seen and likes a lot. I got these as well...

- Being John Malkovich dts
- Blade dts
- Cliffhanger dts
- Dracula 2000 dts
- The Sixth Day dts
- Spy Kids dts

You can also try Amazon Japan - http://www.amazon.co.jp

Here's a link to a site that has a step-by-step guide to ordering from them. If you already have an account set up at Amazon, it'll be even easier to order.
