Getting major electronics free? Anyone seen this?

Anyone ever heard of this/ tried it?

Sounds like some kind of scam.

[Link removed. Try discussing this another way other than just directing people to an ebay auction. -X]

ok.....

Here is the text from the auction....

FOR ONLY $13.95, WE WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO RECEIVE CONSUMER ELECTRONICS ABSOLUTELY FREE
(YOUR BID IS FOR THIS VERY VALUABLE INFORMATION, NOT THE ACTUAL ELECTRONICS! DO NOT BID FOR MORE THAN QUANTITY OF ONE!)

ATTENTION: This is the first time ever this info or anything like it has been offered on eBay, and most likely to the public in general! There is no club or membership to join. This little-known method is unlike anything else you have seen and TRULY WORKS. If you would like to know how you can receive FREE consumer electronics for your home and car (the most you will pay is just the shipping costs occasionally), then please read on.

I will reveal to you the INFORMATION that only industry insiders have.
You will simply be AMAZED at the items you can get for FREE !!!
Videogame Systems, Laptops, Desktops, In Dash Flip-Out DVD Players, Big Screen HDTVs, Plasma TVs, HI-FI Surround Sound Systems, LCD Monitors & TVs, and Much More! You name it, you can get it simply by asking. I will teach you how to ask...
(This is no joke, This is no scam. I promise you this is 100% the real deal and you WILL make this program work!!!)

I personally guarantee that if you follow the instructions in my program you WILL receive FREE state of the art electronics

THAT'S RIGHT! COMPLETELY FREE!

If you have access to the internet and a mailing address, then you have everything you need to begin receiving brand new top of the line electronics for FREE.. Guaranteed!

There is no catch and there are no hidden costs!

Until my recent retirement, I was the Chief Marketing Director of North America for a major global distribution firm, one of the largest in the world, for 9 years. I worked at the company for a total of over 26 years. During my career, I have received just about every electronic device you can think of for free. Actually I have had companies before that beg to send me additional free products, no joke! I have thousands of electronics over the years. My houses are filled with some of the latest entertainment systems including Plasma TVs, HDTVs, DVD players/changers, surround sound systems, mini-disc players, and many other great consumer electronics. All of my vehicles are equipped with TFT LCD monitors, DVD players/changers, CD players/changers, navigation systems, audio systems, and much more. ALL WERE COMPLETELY FREE. I have given many of these mobile electronics to my co-workers, friends, and family as well. I also have sold many of the free products and have made big $$$$$ which helped out with my early retirement.

Now that I am retired, for the first time ever I am able to expose this to the public. I searched on Yahoo for an hour or two, and I could not find any information whatsoever on this method; hence not many people at all outside of the industry know about this. This concept is already well known by high positioned employees at most marketing and distribution firms since it is part of their daily job. I have worked over 25 years in this field and I know exactly how the system works.

Frequently Asked Questions (Please Read)

Q: For my $13.95, are you selling me these electronics directly?
A: NO, this auction is for INFORMATION on how to get these products for FREE.

Q: Do I get to choose which products and models I can receive?
A: Yes.

Q: Are these electronics older and outdated versions?
A: No! Actually some of the items you can receive are state-of-the-art and have not been released officially to the general public for sale. If you reside in the US, unfortunately all the electronics you buy are outdated. A model will be on the market for up to a year or more overseas before it is even introduced in North America.

Q: Are these products high quality or are they defective factory seconds?
A: No, ALL are brand new! The quality and features of many of the products will most likely exceed your expectations.

Q: Are these electronics name brand?
A: Yes and no. Some name brands you will have never heard of simply because they are not sold in North America. Some others may be direct from the manufacturer, before a company such as Sony (believe it or not they do not manufacturer all their products themselves) slaps their logos on them. If you know your electronics well, you will definitely recognize some models which are sold in the states minus the logo. Personally I do not suggest going with brand names common in N. America simply because their models are outdated.

Q: With the exception of the program costs, is there any other costs at all involved?
A: No, the only money you will be paying is the cost of this program. The only exception is you may be asked to pay the shipping costs on the products. I would estimate about 4 out of 5 times you are not asked to pay shipping. So when you think about it, an entire mobile media system or plasma tv could only cost you $13.95.

Q: Do I have to live in the United States to use this program?
A: No.

Q: Is this program easy to use?
A: Yes, it is very easy, literally anyone can do it! I guide you through the simple process step by step.

The auction certainly is detailed, I'll give them that. Anyone actually order this?

I've seen those auctions as well and was wondering the same thing. It sounds like you sign up as a beta tester for hardware. Since there's no such thing as free, you probably have to write detailed reports on the products once you get them. But if they sent me a G2, I'd write 100 pages.

Sounds like the "how to get unlimited DVDs for $10" (directing people to Columbia House or our threads on CH) or "how to make thousands per week by working at home" type deals at best.

Any time you see something like this run away as fast as you can. This is just as legit as all of those infomercials that claim you can get rich just by ordering their program. (i.e. Don Lapree) It is a scam. The only thing you get for your $13.95 is a charge on your credit card bill for $13.95!

I'm not spending the $13.95, but I imagine the instructions work like this:

1. Place ads/auctions offering to sell people instructions on how to get major electronics for free.

2. Take the money you made selling the instructions and buy whichever major electronics you want.

3. Send the people who bought the instructions from you a copy of these instructions.

That's how most of the non-pyramidal 'Work from home' offers work.
