DVD Talk Legend
Just watched it the other night. Will have a full review on DVDFile in a couple of days.
Long story short: It's a very classy movie with some nice creepy atmosphere and good performances from the child actors. I wouldn't call it groundbreaking, but it was well done. I appreciated that there was no big twist at the end, as seems to be in fashion with ghost stories these days. It's a simple and elegant story, well told.
DVD picture and sound quality are both stunning. Has a moderate amount of supplements. I haven't listened to the commentary yet.

I watched the DVD last Friday night. I bought it sight-unseen and I don't regret it. While it is a very good movie, don't expect it to be scary. The DVD also has a few decent extras: a making-of featurette and a director's commentary. Guillermo Del Toro and Guillermo Navarro(?) sound very laid back but provide some very good insight into things in the film that you might not catch the first time through. I didn't listen to his entire commentary I intend to do so very soon.
