Dune - New R1 vs. R2 France
Is the new R1 version of Dune a longer cut than the R2 France version?

Well here's what I'm seeing:

Amazon US Dune DCSE = 295 minutes
Amazon FR Dune DCSE = 272 minutes

Whether the numbers are accurate or not I have no idea.

Don't forget the PAL vs NTSC speed difference. I explains some of that running time difference.

PAL VS NTSC is not possible to explain a 23mins. So I believe France version is cut.

The R2 UK (according to Amazon UK) is 288 mins. My guess is the new R1 cut is the same as R2 UK one.
