Viruses coming from ebay account?
I use one specific email address for ebay that is not used for anything else. Recently I've been deluged with emails that have viruses attached. I know what the emails look like now and simply add them to my blocked sender list and delete them but they're getting pretty annoying. Aside from having a bad experience with a certain seller (filed and won a fraud complaint against her) who might have used my email address for this sort of thing I can't imagine where else any of these are coming from.
Has anyone else had the same experience?

I also have an email addy that is exclusively for eBay/Paypal .... and the last month or so it has had a lot of spam, so I doubt it is caused by any of your eBay trading partners.

This is most likely caused by the Klez virus. The people with whom you have transacted in the past on eBay probably have you in their address book. When they get infected with Klez, the virus sends itself out to everyone in the address book.
You can read more about the technical details and behavior of Klez here:

I get a ton of these type of emails that are from some email address I am not familiar with with no message and only an attachment. I delete them using my web based email without reading.

Luckily, my Norton is all up to date and catches it before it can do any damage. Pretty annoying, though.
