Several things I noticed:

1) "Pepe le Moko" is a re-release, but it's on your list.
2) "Baran" and "Trouble Every Day" were released theatrically in LA in December 2001, making them 2002 films by Academy standard.
3) I saw "A Matter of Taste" during the Fall of 2001 - it is definitely a 2001 release.
4) "The Lady Duke" should be "The Lady and the Duke".

That info is wrong. Miramax had originally planned to release "The Son's Room" in November of 2001, but instead it pushed the release back to February 2002 in anticipation of the film getting an Academy nod for Best Foreign Film.Well, the film was never nominated. But in any case, IMDB is utterly wrong about the film's release date. "The Son's Room" is a 2002 release.

Not sure if you want to do this (as it would be a lot of work) but if you seperated them by release date as well as by month, and included upcoming titles as well, it could serve as a way for people to see what's coming out in the upcoming weeks.

Hey Sunday Morning!

Two quick things:

1) It's "Lan Yu", not "Lang Yu"
2) "Songs from the Second Floor" had a 2-week theatrical run in San Francisco last year at the Roxie theater. *However*, during the time it did not have a US-wide distributor. But since it was properly released in a theater for over a week, I personally considered it a 2001 film. But technically, it could be either since New Yorker only released it this year.

A Truly great film, BTW.

Yeah, it's coming out as a limited release in New York and Los Angeles on October 11th and than opening wide on October 18th. It won't be long now.
