I just bought an X-Box last weekend and am trying to figure out what games to get my friends to bring over this weekend (they rent the games, I provide food and beer ) I only have Oddworld, so I'm looking for some other fun multi player games. HALO is a definite (of course ), but what else has cooperative game play/head to head/vs. modes?

I really don't like sports sim games (I thought NBA street was pretty good though), but I'm open to anything else.

Blood wake is a cool game. Hunter the reckoning is a cool multiplayer. NHL Hitz is cool. DOA3. Halo. Fuzion Frenzy is even a cool game but you have to have 4 players.

Is Hunter: The Reckoning out yet? Some places seem to have it out and others say pre-ordered, and they all seem to make it available on different dates.

Hunter is out. It has shipped to retailers.

You probably won't be able to rent it this weekend but you should definatly be able to buy it.
