KB Toys B&M 50% off Select PS2 Games
I'm sorry if this has been posted already, I searched but didn't find it. KB Toys B&M stores have some PS2 titles on sale for 50% off. According to the clerk the sale is through 5/27/02. There seems to be certain titles that are on sale in every store and some that are not. Also, it seems that some stores prices vary for the same titles (or at least the sticker price does). Again, the prices may vary by a few dollars per store. I checked 5 KB's in my area and personally picked up Fantavision, Smuggler's Run, Time Splitters and Spy Hunter. This is a list of PS2 games and their prices (the ones with ? marks for the prices I'm not sure of the prices on):

What thread has this been posted in? The only threads I saw don't mention these titles and only refer to the website which most (all?) of these titles are not on sale.

Heh, and when I post this a week ago it's all but ignored They also have 50% off all accessories for all systems including GBA as well except for Sony brand periferals.
No worries on the duplicate thread though Fab, just as long as the news gets out there!

I saw it posted here, and also posted it in the Hot Deals Talk. Didn't get much responce, but a lot of views. I picked up Jak and Daxter for $25, so I was happy with that.

They've been flying off our shelves, I snagged a few myself and don't generally purchase games... since I started working there 2 months ago though I've bought 6 of the 13 I own. Even when games aren't on sale KB generally has good prices on older games.

I know this was posted elsewhere, but I'll post it again.
Maximo is $9.99 at Blockbuster. Granted, it's used, but still, this is a game that still retails for $49.99 in some stores. Not to mention, it got almost universally good reviews when it came out. To pass it up for under $10 is just foolish.

Damn, sale over (online at least). Looks like I took the wrong week to go on vacation (missed overstock as well). Now I guess I gotta save my money for a soon-to-be-reduced Xbox instead.

I also asked the employee at the KB when the sale was over and he said most likely it would go on until the end of the month.

I think it ends the 26th or 27th, so be careful waiting till the very end of the month.

Wow, thanks for posting this info. MGS2 and Jak and Dexter for $24.99 is amazing. I already own MGS2 but picked up Jak and Dexter today.. I had to call several KB stores, most were sold out of it, but one store had 3. (One store said they sold the 1 they had to their district manager the day the sale started.. THAT'S real fair! .
I think that software prices is the next war now that both consoles are $199 each. (well, all 3)

I ordered a Nintendo brand GameCube controller for $20. Not bad, I suppose.
Also, you can use the code "DENNYVGMS" to receive an extra $5 off of your order. Sorry if that's already been posted.

You all may want to go back to your local Kay-Bee and check these deals...since the PS2 $199 announcement, after the original price list about, some of the MSRP's have been lowered, so since the original price was lowered, you get 50% off the new price. I just picked up Parappa for $15 (MSRP $29.99 now), and they were going back and checking the others to change the tags on the games...

Might want to hurry too, we just heard that the 50% deals on PS2 titles might be ending the 17th instead of the 27th as originally planned. But we also heard that it might be extended through June, so go figure.

Thanks for posting these sales, I was looking for these prices.
hmmph, 2 of the KBs near me said half-life was 30 and not part of the 50% off deal. at 15 bucks i probably would buy it. I guess i'll have to look around some more.
