They're surely bootlegs so I doubt it. As far as I know there's no official dvd release of star wars in any country.

JoniS,
You paid $15 for all 4? I'd pay 3 times that much for those. I don't suppose you can give me some info on how i could get these aswell. Or if you're selling, i will certainly buy!

From the Digital bits
And many of these discs are mastered from the authorized laserdisc editions, so they have fairly good picture quality and even Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
Ill stick with the bootlegs, until theres a offical release, coz I need the 5.1 sound (and I dont have a LD player...).

Actually, the guy who bid that ridiculous amount is a bogus bidder. He's doing it to most of the Star Wars auctions on Ebay. To be honest, though, it is quite ridiculous that people are paying $100+ for the sets when they are on sale there for so much less.
JoniS, by the way, that SUPERDVD website you sent me, I contacted him in the past and he never replied and i contacted him again and he still hasn't replied. I used different email addresses. Are u sure this guy is still around?

Hmm... I have no interest in any SW bootlegs, but IMHO the studios don't risk anything with bootlegs, as long as the buyer knows it's a bootleg... I mean - if you're desperate enough to import a $100 or so set of vhs-like quality, you can BET they'd STILL get the official DVD(s) when they arrive...

I know this is an old thread but for those of you looking for quality SW dvd boots done from LD, and I have been told these are the best ones you will find. I ordered them and will post whether they are worth buying or not.

here are the covers to print. I did one on photo paper highest quality on my lexmark Z53 and it came out better than real covers!
