What's the deal w/ the new Paul Westerberg?

I thought this was supposed to be a doubel-disc set (Amazon has track listings for both). Yet when I went to 2 different stores (Tower & Best Buy), they only had a single disc.

What's going on?

It's a limited edition 2 disc set so not everywhere will have it. I don't know what the breakdown is. Keep shopping around until you find you find it. I got mine from amazon and it's the two disc

As a heads up, if you care, Westerberg will be on Headline News tonight (Thurs.) from Los Angeles. He's going to be performing one song live I believe (and maybe a short interview as well?). I don't know what time, but if I found out I'll pass it on.

Hee hee. You know, in the 8 months since Headline News has gone to this crazy, busy, live format this is the first time I've EVER wanted to tune in from home (who wants to watch your job?). We had Rob Zombie in the studio yesterday... I wasn't even interested in saying hello to him. But when I get home tonight I'll tune in to see Westerberg, even if it only lasts 1 minute.

Wasn't Westerberg supposed to be on Letterman soon? Or has he already done it?

Not much of an interview on Headlines yesterday. I doubt Alisha had a clue who she was talking to. I listened to the two discs that are out and I'm happy with this stuff. I need to hear the lyrics some more, but some of those songs are awesome.

How's the double disc version packaged? Does anything indicate that it's a double disc version? Does it have song listings for both discs on the back cover? I really don't want to buy the wrong one...

Yeah, that was my prblem, as the "Stereo" disc looks like it's just one single disc, yet inside, as a surprise, is another "Mono" disc. There are no track listings of the second disc on the outside, or anything else to note that there is even a second disc included. But it's a safe bet that every copy of the new Westerberg will be the double dic version - as there is no single disc version yet.

Can somebody verify this?

I've spent three lunch hours looking for the 2-disc set, and left behind many copies of "Stereo."

Pretty crappy marketing, if ya ask me.
