A good progressive-scan dvd player for under $350?

A good progressive-scan dvd player for under $350?

Can someone give me any suggestions?

Got my dad a Toshiba SD3750. Does progressive, plays MP3s off CDR/CDRW, plays VCDs for $179.

If you want to add DVD-Audio to that I suggest the Toshiba SD-5700 $250. I love mine.

If you mean "Good Progressive Scan Player" and not just "Good, Progressive Scan Player" choose one in your price range with the Sage/Faroudja FLI2200 or the SI/DVDO Sil504 or SIL503 chip:

I have the JVC SA70BK & I have been impressed with it.........of course this is my first dvd player............but the picture is very sharp even in interlaced mode.

Panasonic RP-56 all the way, it uses at least some of Faroudja's technology in the prog scan chip and can't be beat for $220.
