What Songs/Artists Are You Good At Singing Karaoke

For myself I can do songs by Stray Cats well and most Guns N Roses songs. I got the voice for it. ALSO i can sing Elvis pretty good but its usually in mockery.

What songs/artists can you do best on stage?

Two of my favorites to do...

"Semi Charmed Life" - Third Eye Blind
"Plush" - STP

I've tried others and failed miserably.

Not much in the rock genre -- but I can pull off a solid version of any old crooner standby; I'm best with old Sinatra or Ella songs, or anything by Gerswhin/Porter/Berlin...

I'm singing 3 or 4 solos in an upcoming Broadway-esque concert for the local Master Chorale...

I can imitate Jewel pretty well. Haven't done karaoke in quite awhile, though.

I don't do quite as much karaoke as I used to, but songs that were always in my stable:

Fred Neil -- "Everybody's Talking"
Rolling Stones -- "Let's Spend the Night Together"
Peter Frampton -- "Show Me the Way"
Otis Redding -- "That's How Strong My Love Is"

I can sing Stones songs like nobody's business.

"Spiderwebs" No Doubt

I don't even like to listen to this song, but it's really fun to sing.

This is the standard for females and karaoke. "I Will Survive" is a close second.

My buddy Tom and I used to hit all the karaoke places we could find on Staten Island. We liked it so much, we started our own karaoke business. We got out when it started drying up, but it appears to be making a bit of a comeback.

My Usual Songs
Knock Three Times
Say Goodbye to Hollywood
I Think I Love You
Stairway to Heaven (duet with Tom)
Easy Lover (duet with Tom)
Kiss
When Doves Cry
Paradise by the Dashboard Light (duet with any willing chick)

Honk!

Anything sung by Johnny Lydon from the Sex Pistols to PiL. Of course that isn't really singing is it?

I can sing the Doors like nobodies business. -course Jim Morrisson wasn't a really great singer - though I like him a lot - so I can't really sing like anyone else. I try to sound like maynard - but its just sad.
