One and Only Music-Related DVD Release Date Schedule
Music-related DVDs (e.g., video collections, concerts) rarely get the publicity that films do. Most on-line sites do not list this genre of DVD among the "upcoming" or "new" releases, while most B&M retailers have an embarassingly slim selection.
What follows is comprehensive release schedule for music DVDs. Please reply to this thread if you have any additions/deletions; all types of music are welcome. Once your list adjustments are made please delete your post to keep this thread to a minimum length.
The list is also useful for pre-order discount purposes, since music DVDs rarely go on sale once they are released due to low volume.

Great list! It often seems I am left to find music DVD's quite by accident or word of mouth. Their release dates just aren't publicized like films. I will visit this thread often. Once again, great job!

The Cult on DVD
I heard from a pretty reliable source that The Cult have a DVD coming out in May or early June.
If you haven't picked up their latest CD: "Beyond Good and Evil", you are missing out.
It is the best CD ever!

DVD Talk Godfather & 2020 TOTY Winner
I'm all for another Sting live DVD, but that ain't it. I think you mean W.A.S.P. : The Sting: Live at the Key Club, L.A. Please delete the incorrect entry before someone else gets their hopes up (and when can I get that damned Bring On The Night DVD...).
Great thread though. I'll be picking up that Cecilia Bartoli DVD now!

Ummm... You deleted the W.A.S.P. listing and left Sting. Have you had a long day?

DVD Talk Limited Edition
It's a judgement call for you whether or not you want to include it, but the first 2 million domestic copies and over 1 million international copies of Eminem's new CD (release 6/4) will include a DVD with live footage, interviews, etc. The DVD will only be included with those limited numbers of the CD, not by itself.

The Symphonic Yes dvd has been pushed back to June 18th, and the dvd-audio of Magnification is scheduled for June 6th. I have a sampler disc from JVC of this and I highly recommend it.
I changed the release date of the dvd-audio since it was delayed a week. I notice it still isn't on the main list.

DVD Talk Legend
August 27:
An in-depth documentary about the making of the HYSTERIA album, with interviews, anecdotes, explanations and other relevant stories from the band (inc. old interview footage from Steve Clark), Mutt Lange, Peter Mensch, Cliff Burnstein, Malvin Mortimer, David Simone, Jeff Rich, and many more people who were involved in the creation of the album in one way or another.
The documentary tells the story of how the idea of making an instant Greatest Hits album, developed into the delivery of the band's most successful album to date. Using the original demos and multitrack tapes as leads, explanations on the middle bits of ROCKET and the end bits of LOVE BITES, acoustic versions of POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME and HYSTERIA, and many more details, this DVD provides a unique insight into the making of HYSTERIA.

Genesis DVD finally being released in U.S.
For anyone who cares, just thought I'd pass the word that the elaborate 2-disc Genesis "The Way We Walk" live DVD, that's been available in other parts of the world, is finally coming out here on September 24. I've seen preorder prices around $18, so it'll be cheaper than getting one of the import copies.
