This cd won't let me Mp3 a song!

I was loading some music for my GF on my CPU when I got to her Belinda Carlisle cd for Heaven on Earth. I can Mp3 everything except "I Get Weak." On that song I get an error warning with text that the song cannot be extracted from the disc.

This is strange from a cd marketed in 1987. Is this more common with other discs? I have ran a virus check on the disc itself with negative results.

I don't think I've seen something quite like that before. Personally, I think it's a message. You could try some other software, perhaps.

Try to use Easy CDDA Extractor... go to www.download.com and search for CDDA

get a copy of "Exact Audio Copy". it is regarded around the mp3 community as THE cd-ripper, if it can't rip it, nothing can.

Some Mp3's won't convert

I have Easy CD Creator. I use Spin Doctor to convert my Mp3's to WAV files. Usually there is no problem, but certain Mp3's won't convert to WAV files. It's strange because I CAN play the Mp3 that won't convert. It just shows up with a 0:00 duration in Spin Doctor. It seems like a problem with the song title maybe because I can download a totally different Mp3 with the same title and it still gives me a 0:00 duration and won't convert.

I've never been crazy about CD Creator, but after shelling out the bucks for it years ago I'm not gonna run out and buy a new program. Is there any free software to download for converting Mp3's to WAV files? This partitcular song I am having trouble with can't be found easily on other file sharing sites.

Well, I just fixed my problem by downloading Music Match (you know, it always helps to do a search on these threads first... duh.) Not sure what the deal is with Easy CD Creator on those files, but Music Match converted that song with no problem.
