I need help with the name of an 80's song, but I know very little of it
Okay, I'm pretty sure that this was a song popular in about 1983 or 1984 (maybe 1982, but definitely not after '84).
It's a dance type tune but not as fast as say....Fame or Maniac.
It's sung by a guy that kinda sounds like Prince but I'm pretty sure it's not Prince and then there is a lot of chorus by girls
I can hum the whole song, but that doesn't help since I can only guess at the exact words...
There's one part that I'm pretty sure goes:
Noowww...now now now (or Dowwwnnn...down down down)
Heeaarrttss onnn ma-gic(I think?)
By the way, I know that the second part of that is probably completely wrong, but it's what I mumble to myself when I sing it...
Anyway, I know this info is horribly inadequate, but it's one of those things that's killing me not knowing, plus I really like that song and would like to download it...

Okay, after digging out a dance video from 1984, I finally found the name of this damn song...
turns out it's Automatic by the Pointer Sisters
I guess the "hearts of magic" part was the "au-to-mat-ic" part
oops...
anyway, thanks to the 70 people who have viewed this and turned away completely dumbfounded by my ridiculous hints...
