Woo Hoo! New Elvis Costello single!!!
"Tear Off Your Own Head (It's A Doll Revolution)." Just heard it on my local NPR station. As much as I enjoyed the whole Bacharach thing, it's good to hear Mr. MacManus actually rock again.
It sounds like he reassembled most of the Attractions, too. The new album comes out in mid-April.
Hope this means a tour.

There should be a tour. He's doing a string of one-off dates in large cities (NYC, LA, London, Amsterdam) for about 2 weeks in April to promote the release - I bet he'll do a theatre tour over the summer. BTW, if you haven't seen the 'CMT Crossroads' with EC and Lucinda Williams, watch for it - I was lucky enough to go and it was awesome - he busted out some country tunes from 'Almost Blue' as well as songs from the upcoming album (which were all pretty loud) which he performed w/ Lucinda's band.
