Audiogalaxy blocking songs

I've been using Audiogalaxy the past month and was curious about something.
Many songs have been blocked off and I assume this is for copyright reasons.
Does a band have to request this? I mean, why wouldn't they just about block
off ALL songs (unless approval is given). I know you can get around this using
different names... just wondering.

Yeah, I guess it must have to do with copyright holders specifically requesting that downloading of X song be halted. It's funny that Audiogalaxy tries to even block misspellings, etc....but there's always versions that are downloadable.

AG actually does this of their own accord. also, there are ways to bypass this. Search my old posts in this forum and you will see it.
