My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

I just purchased this album on CD to replace my long-worn-out cassette copy and I just have to say: This album is pure farcking genius. Absolutely superb.

I wish Kevin Shields would jump back in and put out a new album.

Now I must order This is Your Bloody Valentine and Ecstacy and Wine, which seem to have been released recently.

I don't think you'll find anyone to argue with you about the genius of Loveless. I know I won't. The last Primal Scream record had a great Shields song. Sounded just like Loveless. The album is worth picking up for that track alone.

I won't either. Loveless is absolutely frigging brilliant. Not just one of the best albums of the 90's but one of the best albums ever recorded. It's such a pity that Kevin Shields and My Bloody Valentine up and vanished after this album.

I love everything I have by My Bloody Valentine. But Loveless is the last album I have. I have Feed me With Your Kiss, Isn't Anything, . Is there anything since Loveless or that is available that I don't know about?

Nope. Shields has been working on an album ever since. It was put up on MBV's website for a couple days a few years ago, I managed to hear it. It was fantastic, but it most likely will never be released, at least while he is alive.

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that they were waiting until their contract with some company ran out, and then were going to release something. I can't for the life of me recall where though.
