Any Godflesh fans here?

Lately I've been listening to the most recent Godflesh CD "Hymns". I've been a fan of this band since the early nineties, and this most recent disc is their best work since the album "Pure"--which is just about my favorite album of all time. Anyway, I can't turn this CD off, it's simply amazing. I don't even know what category to put this band under anymore, not that it matters. Industrial? Metal? The first time I heard about Godflesh was when I bought a VHS tape called "Hard N' Heavy: Grindcore" or something like that. I wish I still had it. Godflesh was one of the bands featured on that tape. Then I found their cassette called "Streetcleaner", and I've been a big fan ever since. Anybody else like 'em?

What do you mean by that? Should I have elaborated more on previous album releases?

My comment was not directed to you. That's why I did the quote.

Um...back to topic. I haven't picked up "Hymns", but I like their last one ("Us and Them") alot, and I agree that "Pure" is a classic.

i prefer street cleaner, pure was decent but alittle too repetative.
i never bothered with anything since, execept for the love and hate in dub which i listened to maybe twice.

curious though, if you got their dvd, and if so is it worth it?
