GBA games for a 6 year old?

My boy's turning six in three weeks and I want to get him a GBA game for our return trip to the States. My only question is which game? He enjoys Rayman 2, Sonic and Spiderman for the DC. Can anyone offer some ideas to check out?

Or maybe you think 6 is too young to even think about touching the GBA and I should go with Game Boy color? Though I HATE going backwards

My 6 year old likes Super Mario Advance, Bomberman, and Mario Kart, the latter 2 are also great games for linking. He also like some of the old GB games like Cool Spot Adventure and Penguin Wars (they are pretty old, don't know if you can find them still).

Maybe you should get him Sonic Advanced, seems like a good game for a little kid. Also GBA can play all other Game Boy games, so even like a Pokemon game might be good.

My son is seven and he liked the Lego Bionicle game and Super Mario Advance. Really it depends on how well the child can read, because all kids seem to like Pokemon, but it requires them to be able to read the text.

I agree that Super Mario World and Sonic Advance might be good games to try. Kids seem to handle action games pretty well.

somehow I think the GBA screen is not good for our eyes, especially for kids. My eyes get very tired after looking at the GBA screen for 30 minutes to an hour; even worse if I am on the bus. If I have a kid, I would rather get him a N64.

Anyway, I think Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble can be a good game for your kid... It is really fun, but it is a Gameboy Color game.
