Macintosh games
Have just bought myself a TiBook 550, and am wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the following games?
Baldur's Gate 2, Civilization 3, Myth 3, Age of Empires 2.
I prefer the type of game that takes weeks to build upon, in order to finish. I'm currently working my way through Myst 3, but don't mind games like Golden Sun on GBA, and the Final Fantasy series on PS consoles.

The Civilization series can't be beat. Not only does it take up endless obsessive hours, but when you're done you want to jump right back in and play again. I've never been one to play a game multiple times, but I never seem to tire of the Civ series. Civ II was fantastic and Civ II takes it up a notch.

Oh man.. i used to game heavily on my Mac but that was like 10 years ago... My most favorite game ever on any system?
Strategic Conquest for the Mac
It is a turn based strategy game that may be what you are looking for...I believe it still works on the new PowerMacs... very addictive and if you choose the high levels, it can take days to win or lose.
I dunno if they are still around but Delta Tao software published it... I think they did Spaceward Ho! too.. another great classic Mac strategy game..

Delta Tao is still around:

They are still selling Strategic Conquest for $34.95, though it's really not worth that much these days.
If you liked Dark Castle, check out the beta for their upcoming Return to Dark Castle.
