Need Some Good Major Label Band Suggestions

I've gotten the bug to buy about $200 worth of major label (or or very well known) CDs again, so I need some good suggestions. Rock, pop, country, rap, whatever.

So what are your favorite major label bands that I don't know about?

Sorry Penny Lane -- you clearly know little to nothing about music. All of those artists are actually indie. In the changing tides of musical definitions you have obviously not kept up with what us elites think.

He asked for some good major label band suggestions, and I know you were just enthusied about these small time bands that somehow were placed on a big time label, but they are not "Major Label Bands" They are actually Indie Bands on a Major Label. BIG difference.

thanks,
Curtis
