Yes yes yes.... Bevery Hills Cop. We know it. We love it. Now why can't anyone make this easy for me to purchase??? Has anyone else had any problems like this?

I went to Best Buy this morning... I assumed (and you know what happens when you assume...) that they'd have Beverly Hills Cop 1,2 and 3 all on sale. I could conveniently pass on #3 and pay roughly $35 for the good ones. Mind you I was still wavering on whether or not I should just buy the box set from Costco for 42.99.

I get there and oh oh thats right... Only the frist BHC is on sale. So that would come out to about $37 for two of them.. Not much of a savings over the box set at Costco. Now okay... I still don't want to own BHC3. Target. Target must have them all on sale.

Target doesn't even have them. Not one. I asked the guy... he didn't even know they were supposed to come out on DVD. ARGH.

Oh look Circuit City's across the street. Now here's the rough dialogue between me and Mr. Circuit City:

"Where do you keep your Beverly Hills Cop DVD's?"

"Comedy."

"That's only Beverly Hills Cop 3."

"Yeah Beverly Hills Cop. Comedy."

"That's only the third movie. I want number one and number two."

"Oh we don't have those."

"WHAT???"

"But we have that Richard Pryor DVD."

"Go away."

So now it looks like its back to Costco and the $42.99 box set.

What is it with these people?

I'm sorry... I just had to vent because if I tried to explain this to my girlfriend she'd get mad at me for being an idiot and not just buying them at Best Buy. The gas I spent driving was probably more than that extra $3 I would have had to pay there in the first place....but I just can't pay full price!

Edited thread title for some sense of decorum and moving to the Store forum.

Thanks,

No problem.... glad someone's watching out for my senseless tirades.
