Groundhog day ?

I went to Best Buy today at lunch to pick up Beverly Hills Cop trilogy and asked about Groundhog Day and the guy said it did not come out today. Anyone found this at a store today?

Haven't been to the store yet (I'll be hitting Tower after work to pick up the new Chemical Bros. disc and maybe Bev Hills Cop and hopefully Groundhog Day). But, Amazon says that Groundhog Day SE ships in 7 to 10 days, so I'm guessing it was delayed.

I had no problem getting it here and a few days early, so any story about it being delayed is not true.

I saw it at the local Coconuts here last week, so it's definitely out.

Best Buy is FAMOUS for screwing up any re-issue of a DVD.

Circuit City had it in for 19.99, that's where I bought mine.

I saw it at Borders yesterday - I noticed because the spine is red (the original was blue).

Well, DD 5.1 is not bad... There are some unfortunates out there who are stuck with DDSurround even for the re-release SE (R4)...

my day looking for Groundhog Day

Let me tell you about the day I have had. At exactly 10 AM I go to my local music store to purchase the new album by Dream Theater "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence," which totally rocks by the way, and pay with tax nearly 29 dollars for it. It is 2 discs. See, they are my favorite band and I needed the new album so I couldn't wait till I got to Best Buy to pick it up. Anyway, I then head to Best Buy to pick up Atlantis CE and Groundhog Day. I find Atlantis but no Groundhog Day. Also, BB had the Dream Theater album on sale for 18.00! Then I find out the idiot cashier charged me 5.00 more for the DVD then it was supposed to be. Needless to say I was angry and got even angrier when I realized that I needed to travel out of my way to get to a Suncoast video and overpay for Groundhog Day. Finally, I head to Suncoast video and was able to find Groundhog Day. Of course this was after searching through the DVD Comedy section for 15 minutes because Groundhog Day was not displayed in the new releases section and the sales clerk, who actually new his stuff, could not offer any help cause he was in the middle of hopelessly helping a "Joe Sixpack" understand the difference between widescreen and P&S cause he didn't like "dem black bars." I finally checked out and went home and listened to the Dream Theater album for like the 2nd time because by the time I was finished driving I had listened to both discs of the album in their entirety, keeping in mind that the album has over 100 minutes of music.

I guess I could've waited for BB to get Groundhog Day. Oh well, it's just one of those days...I guess.

Went to MediaPlay with my credit from Christmas. No Beverly Hills Cop trilogy, only 1 came out she said, no Groundhog Day SE, not on the list for today's releases, no Man Who Loved Women showing as still on order. Bought Rat Race but should have waited for BBV PVD, and had to pay $$$ at Best Buy for Beverly Hills Cops, No Groundhog Day SE there either. Bummer of a day.

Actually GROUNDHOG DAY: SE is the only thing I could find today. I was also looking for the BEVERLY HILLS COP films and couldn't find them anywhere! I was so disappointed, but the GROUNDHOG DAY:SE is great anyway.

Found mine at Wal-Mart.

I'm sensing a pattern here. It sounds like someone in the Best Buy purchasing department forgot to order Groundhog Day SE . Here's hoping Costco has some...

Ive been holding on to a Best Buy gift card that I got for Christmas specifically for Groundhog Day,So I go to Best Buy today to pick it up and see that there are not any on the shelves.
I ask the guy from the dept to look it up and it shows that they dont have it and there are not any on order! He says that it looks like they wont be carrying it! I went next door to circut city and they had one copy.I didnt buy it because I really wanted to use that gift card.I dont know if I should wait and see if they get some copies in or just bite the bullet and buy it somewhere else.I also checked Target today and they didn't have it either.Im very disappointed with Best Buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I scoured my BB for about 15 minutes to look for it, and finally I found an employee, who had to call his manager woh tells him that they don't have it. Plenty of BHC in case you were wondering though.
