So, does Medal of Honor come out today or not?

I thought it was supposed to come out yesterday. I went to Best Buy to get it, and the person who looked it up said it was supposed to be out, but none of the stores in the area had gotten their shipments yet.

I called Babbages, and they said it is coming out today.

Has anyone picked this up yet? I'm hoping the release date isn't pushed back because I'm ready to play this thing already.

Well, I went over to a different Best Buy durring my lunch break. They still haven't gotten the game in. Looks like someone screwed up. I ended up getting it from the CompUSA next door.

Now I can't wait to play. I think I may have to leave work early today.

Best Buy almost always has games on the shelf the day after everyone else. Sad thing is they have it in the back, but they wait till day after everyone else.

The person I talked to looked it up on their computer and it said they weren't even in the store yet. Oh well... Their loss.

If the game is as good as the demo, I want to reward the makers.

Trust me, I gave plenty to the makers of arcade games. One quarter at a time.

They just haven't done inventory yet...they're back there, trust me. Distributors such as Capcom and EA almost always send games to major stores weeks before release. This is why EA gold dates are usually a month+ earlier than release date .

But it is their loss, that's for sure.

Just a reminder; in the current (February 2002) PC Gamer magazine, there is a coupon for 20% off of one PC game ($19.99 or more) from Best Buy. Page 29.

The coupon is "good through 3/30/02."

Check the Best Buy website. It lists the game for $49.99.

I've noticed this also, and it seems like they're too busy trying to get the new DVD's and CD's out on the shelf than the games. It was the same thing with RTCW, and I had to go to EB to get it and overpay for it. *sigh*
