Strictly Ballroom:SE for $13.33
Hey
Dvdexpress is selling Strictly Ballroom, released 3/19/2002, for $13.33. That's over 50% off.
I don't know how to dvdtalk link it, so if someone is willing to do that then this is a great deal for everyone!

They don't. Well at least I didn't get Mad Max for that price, they cancelled my order and said they would be more than happy to process it for the regular price.

I guess I must have put it in my cart from then and forgot about it.
So, they might not honor this new deal either huh?

I’m sure we’ll all get emails telling us our $13.33-priced orders are canceled and DVD Express will knock a couple of bucks off their new price as an inconvenience for their mistake. Sheesh, how many chances have we given these guys?

i don't think that it was a misprice. they listed the correct msrp, and had the "save this amount" posted. from my experience, dvdexpress sometimes has great deals like this, and when they have misprices, it's for something as absurdly low as 75 cents for mad max.
i'll be extremely annoyed if this turns out to be a misprice. it appeared to me as a sort of deal of the day type thing. here's to hoping...

I was just curious if anyone actually got this. Mine has been on "back order" since the release date even though the page for SB itself says ships in 2-3 days. I sent them an email last week, but haven't heard anything back yet (not that I'm surprised )

nemein,
I’m in the same boat as you, but I did get a response. It’s not even worth mentioning, though. DVDExpress makes it sound like they haven't gotten this title in yet, even though their spec page for Strictly Ballroom does show two to three days for shipping. I’m still holding out for them to make good on this deal. It’s nothing like the ridiculous 75-cent Mad Max disc from January. I can understand them canceling those orders. But I think $13.33 is a wash for them on SB. They should honor it for those of us lucky enough to get in on it early. And now that it’s been out a week, any B&M deals are probably gone. If DVDE decides to cancel this title this late in the game, I will seriously be pissed.
