Question for you gamers(medal of honor)general question about all games

Iv been playing MOH online against everyone and anyone for the past couple days...however how do these people move the way they do,they shoot, move to the right, left quick as hell

is there a gaming key-pad or somthing that they use,it seems to me that they cant be using a computer keyboerd like me,alls i do is hit wrong keys and get killed.

thanks,

tommy

Perhaps they are strafing? The keys are set up as w=up s=down a=sidestep left d=sidestep right. Using these keys for movement and the mouse to aim makes playing FPS games alot easier. Unless there's a quick duck or dodge button I don't know about...

You just have to play it enough that it becomes second nature

Seriously, those guys probably also play a lot of other FPS's like HL, CS, UT, Q3A, etc., and are used to that set up.

I never got into that setup. For some reason, the arrow keys have always been more comfortable for me. Less chance of mucking up a key stroke for other buttons -- ie. right ctrl = duck, enter = reload, r shift = secondary fire, etc.

guess it depends how you start.

edit. I'd be testing the demo a little more, but for some reason, even though I'm on dsl, the online game as been sooooooooo laggy, it's no fun at all. Might just be the steeenking gamespy pipeline. Hard to find a fast server on there anytime.

Make sure to go to your Gamespy options and set your Connection type to DSL.

My Cable Modem gives me zero Lag on good servers but I tried an AOL 56K connection and it was not even playable and quite sad.
