I Picked Up GameCube This Weekend

I finally found a store that had some GameCubes (The Wiz).

My first game I picked up was Super Monkey Ball.
Wow, what a great game. The graphics are great. I like the fact that there are variety of games to play.

Racing reminds me of Kart.

I'm getting a memory card today so I can save my points and unlock bowling, pool and golf.

Thanks Thunderball.

I picked up the memory card during lunch.

What's the fastest way to build up 2,500 points needed to unlock golf/pool/bowling in Super Monkey Ball ?

Just play the main game single player and you will accumulate the points. The better you do, i.e. the farther you get without continuing, the more points you get.

Thanks.

Does 2,500 points unlock all three games ?

I believe it's 2500 points to play one game... one time... you must continue to accumulate points. I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope, 2500 points unlocks one of the games for good. Get 7500 points and you can unlock all three games for good. After that you earn an extra continue, to be used in the main game, for each 2500 points you earn. You begin with 5, then get 6, 7, 8, 9 and finally unlimited (which is a must for Expert mode, though I don't think I have the patience to beat it even with the unlimited continues). After that there's nothing more to earn. You can simply try to set a "play points high score."
