Different contents of "Forum Jump" pull-down menus

Not to be super anal or anything, but I was just wondering why the listing of forums in the "Forum Jump" pull-down menus at the top and bottom of each page were different. Personally I prefer the bottom menu, since its forum headings are pretty much exactly what they actually are (as opposed to the top menu, where they're more abbreviated).

Just my $0.02.

The bottom one is generated by vBulletin, and the other was created by hand and has been hardcoded into the header.
