Lateralus

Not a terribly funny movie, but really interesting. With a cast like, Bill Murray, Molly Shannon, Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, David Hyde Pierce, William Shatner, and Ron Howard a lot of interesting stuff can happen. The best scenes are the ones with Bill Murray, especially the puking and zip popping scenes. The story of how the body fights off a disease (They never tell you what the disease is called but the deadly germ’s name is Thrax (Laurence Fishburne)) with the help of white blood cells and over the counter cold medicine. I would not buy this movie, but it is good for a rental. Anybody else see the movie?

I bought it for my son and I ended up liking it a bit as well. It was indeed an interesting and unusual movie.

My impression was the exact opposite. I thought the animated scenes were funny and clever. As much as I hate to say it, Bill Murray's scenes only slowed the movie down for me.

A pretty original concept for a movie, however I wouldn't go as far a buying it! Definitely aimed for the younger market.

Just watched this for the first time with my kids. They absolutely loved it, as did I. Criminally underrated IMO. Cool animation style too.
