Amazon.com & UPS Shipments

Has anyone else been having problems with UPS shipments sent out by Amazon lately???

Last month I ordered a few things and 2 packages were sent UPS.. one arrived no problem, the other just said, "Billing information received" for a week after the other package arrived. I called amazon and they shipped a replacement.

Last week I placed another order, and they shipped all items individually. Three went UPS, one went USPS. 2 of the UPS packages arrived and the 3rd still just says "Billing information received" and has a scheduled delivery date of 12/11!

Is UPS so busy that they aren't scannning all the packages? Or is Amazon so busy that they label a box and scan it into the UPS computer and then forget to give it to the driver???

I was just wondering if I've just got back luck or has this happened to other people also???

The only problem I have had with Amazon shipments by UPS is the length of time it takes. It has taken about a week for orders by UPS, while orders delivered by USPS take about 2-3 days.

Amazon lately has had problems shipping orders. I have had several orders recently with shipping problems. One order didn't ship for a week until I called Amazon. The order specialist said there was a technical problem (whatever that is) preventing the order from entering the shipping process. They were at least able to get the order back on track and shipped. I also have two current orders that appear to have the same problem in not shipping. I have heard several stories of other forum members having even worse problems in getting orders shipped. So I am more inclined to lay the blame on Amazon than UPS.

Yeah.. my problem sounds more like an Amazon problem... if I call UPS, they said that "Billing Information Received" just means that the shipper entered the tracking number into the UPS computer, it doesn't mean that UPS actually picked up the box.

I've found the opposite with my Amazon packages... Stuff shipped USPS has been taking 2-3 weeks to arrive for me, and UPS packages 2-3 days (if they actually make it.)

I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers that the package they shipped to me on Tuesday morning acutally leaves Amazon one of these days!
