Review wanted: Sting All This Time
I haven't been able to find out any information on the Sting concert DVD that was released today (12/04). The back of the disc doesn't say anything more than Dolby sound. Does anyone know if this disc is 5.1 and does it differ much from the 3 hour A&E special a week or so ago? Review appreciated!

I saw the A&E special. It's no Bring on the Night. About two hours of Sting "jamming" with his hired-hand "friends"/musicians ... and about an hour of actual concert footage. Lots and lots of Sting enjoying the sound of his own voice as he says stuff like, "Wow, having a concert in my backyard is just CRAZY." I used to be a scary Sting fan, but I think I'm gonna have to age another 20 years before I dig his "reinvented" tunes.

Thanks for finding that review, hondo. I picked up the CD for $10 at the post-thanksgiving sale at CC, but didn't open it until I found out how the DVD was. Obviously, it's the way to go on this one. I'll pick it up this weekend. "Friends" last night really put me in the mood to watch a Sting concert
