Can't tell you about the DVD specifically, but the movie is awful. I mean god-awful. It is pretty painful to watch, and borderline softcore porn. But if that is what you are into, you may like it. The plot is fairly dumb, the acting is bad, and so many more things...definately rent this one first.

...ahh... yes... Bruce Willis in Serious-Actor mode... here's a salient snippet from one on-line review I found:

"...The acting's horrible. The script is crap. And the direction - oh my god!! Richard Rush, the director, made "The Stunt Man" 14 years earlier, a film I've yet to see but has been pretty much unanimously hailed as a masterpiece of celluloid. What in the hell was he on when he made this? Did he actually look at it afterwards and say, "Cut. Print. Let's eat." If I were him, I would have done what Woody Allen did when he saw the first final product of "September": throw it the hell out. Of course, Woody started over. I would've thrown it out and made a whole other film..."

Rent, don't buy! (IMNSHO, of course!)

While the comments/opinions above are pretty much all that needs to be said, this film is one of my guilty pleasures. The adult scenes are kind of..umm..creative...but every time Willis and Jane March (a little hottie) go at it, they play this cheesy soft porn music. Im not sure why I like the flick...probably because it isnt that simple a plot to figure out...and Ruben Blades has some very funny lines when wisecracking at Willis.

Try a rental...I own it, but would not have bought it for the 29.95 MSRP...think I got it for about $10. At best, you find some elements to be intriguing....at worst, you have a few laughs over a few beers picking on the inconsistencies

Granted this is personal opinion and all, but I have heard so many people say this...and I just don't understand it. I not only find her to be not attractive, but actually thought she was hideously ugly. Not to hijack the thread or anything, but...pics?
